Award Categories and Process
Outstanding Performance Awards
Categories include Best Jazz, Lyrical/Modern/Contemporary, Musical Theater/Novelty/Character, Hip-Hop, Open/Acro/Ballet, and Tap Performance. Each category’s nominees are selected through regional competitions and further judged for excellence.
People’s Choice Award
This category is open for public voting, with finalists chosen based on their popularity during regional competitions.
Specialty Awards
Includes Choreography of the Year and Best Performance of 2025, recognizing exceptional creativity and talent.
Voting and Judging
- June 26 – July 10, 2025: Online Voting for Outstanding Performance Awards
- June 26 – July 3, 2025: Preliminary Online Voting for People’s Choice Award
- July 7 – July 11, 2025: Final Online Voting for People’s Choice Award
- Judging Process: Carried out by a panel of esteemed judges and through public voting for the People’s Choice Award.
