Having the opportunity to converse with each winner after this year’s KARtv Dance Awards and Benefit Show has been a wonderful experience. Even after three weeks, the feeling of excitement and appreciation still lingers in our audience members and nominees. We know you guys can’t get enough of the entertaining performances, and so I shall continue with the third installment of this series. I recently had a chance to speak with the co-owner of Triple Threat Performing Arts, Bill Langley, about his studio’s award winning routine, “Let’s Werk Again,” which competed in the tap category.
Right away, Bill wanted to express just how excited he and everyone at the studio were after hearing “Let’s Werk Again” garnered another nomination. This time around, their energy was even greater, since the girls also took home the Star Award in 2012. It’s too bad they couldn’t make it to the ceremony, since they were still in Florida competing at Nationals. As a studio owner, Bill stated that, “winning this award is a great accomplishment. Their teacher did a great job, and the kids were thrilled to win two years in a row.” Furthermore, Bill wanted to speak on behalf of “Let’s Werk Again,” and the studio by thanking Stacey Stephens (dance instructor), Michelle Miner (choreographer), and all the parents who stuck it out through 40+ hours of practice over the past year to make this journey possible.
– Keep it up the good werk Triple Threat Performing Arts!
